I guess we should plan on meeting at the 91st and Memorial tomorrow night at 6:30. I had the Cobra out this weekend and still have a little 110 left in her for the trip to the Backyard Burger tomorrow night.

mine is broke. differential mount sheared off. clunking and all kinds of stuff. took me a while to find the problem. I think I can take it back to Danny and have it welded up, but it will need the diff/half shafts all taken out to fix it. Also, clutch is acting up, just may need bleeding

Now I wouldn't do that Marty!
How many are going to the Backyard Burger tonight? I know Mat and I will be there.

Hey guys. New to the Cobra scene. Just bought one for a buddy of mine.
Looking for others in the Tulsa area. I currently the President of The Bold Moves Mustang Club of Tulsa, so that takes a good chunk of my time, but aways looking for other Cobra driver to hang with.
What does it take to join the club? Events? Dues?
Look forward to chatting!
Paul

Paul,
Since we are just getting started I would tell you there are no dues or fees at this time and I doubt that there ever will be. We have not formally had a meeting yet this year mostly because of the rain we have had. I would suggest that you send your email and telephone number to Randy. Right Click on his name on the first post and send him your information and that way he can contact you for a cruise or meeting. By the way do you have a black Cobra and live near Forrest Ridge Country Club?

Welcome aboard Paul.
Like Clois said, we're an informal club, just starting out, no dues, no set meetings, we just get together & have a good time.
You can send me a pm with your contact info, I'll put you on our member list & send you a copy. Keep your eye on the forum for any get togethers we're planning. If you have an idea for a cruise, get together, etc......., just post it & we'll answer.
I'm hoping that this rain stops for more than a day or two so we can all get together again.
See ya,
Randy

Sounds great. I'll forward you my info via a PM.
Nope... Mine is "Arrest Me Red" and stripe-less. It's a SC Motorcar model. Remember those? They were built in Jay Ok. and the guy only built about 10 or so. The thing is bullet proof though . It's been sitting in my friend's (Kurtis of Archangel Motorsports) shop for about the past 10 years. I have some cosmetic things to do to it, but mechanically it's very sound.
It was at the Mid America show this past weekend at the BMMC of Tulsa and Bob Hurley Ford booth.

I have seen it at the show and before at ArchAngles welding shop. Congrats on your acquisition. I look forward to seeing you and your car in the near future. Maybe we can all meet at one of the Stake n Shake places or Backyard Burger.
Clois
P.S.- I haven't taken the slicks off my car yet from this last weeks event at Hallett. Playing catch up at home and work.

Yep that's it. She needs a few things. First is a brake upgrade. I ordered the 4 piston WilWoods for it. They should be in anytime. The short list after the brakes is, carpet, tubular upper and lower a arms (Must. II) and Rear (Upper and Lower) control arms. Kurtis also is replacing the windshield.
Looking at your Avatar... I think I saw you at Hallett on Friday. I was running my Mustang. Great time.
Looking forward to running with you guys. Just let me know and I'll try to make it.

If you need carpet American Upholstry (east of Harvard off Pine) has a great deal on some high end carpet that is sort of an irregular because it is 1/32 to short. I bought 60 square feet (5 yards long by 2 yards wide) for $60 last week. I think they still have several rolls left.

I think we should wait until it gets good and hot before we venture out on a cruise. Maybe we can up to Skiatook Lake one day for lunch.

Excellent find! $1 per sq ft is great. Thanks for the tip. I'll call them and see what they can do!

Why do I sense a bit of sarcasm in your cruise statement?
Let's get something going soon, I'll be posting some ideas tonight.
Skiatook Lake sounds good, maybe a cruise to Woolaroc, thru Bartlesville and back south on 69 into Pryor? Maybe hit Oolagah Lake sometime?
I'm ready whenever anybody else is, gotta get some miles on my Cobra, only 250 so far.
Got some ideas about car shows too.
Randy
