Default Engine Start-Up

I was ready to fire the engine up last weekend but the weather didn't cooperate.

So, hopefully Saturday afternoon will be nice so I can get this thing started & finally on the road.

Hopefully we can all get together sometime next month.

See ya,

Randy

I know it wasn't that nice Saturday but I thought I'd check and see if you got her running and on the road? Hopefully everything went well.

Yea, it wasn't that nice Saturday but I got tired of waiting for good weather.

So we pushed it outside when it wasn't raining & turned that little silver key. Wouldn't start, bad fuel pump, so we pushed it back in the garage, changed the pump, pushed it outside and................

it started!!!! Then it started drizzling but I didn't care! Engine sounds great, pipes sound great!

Just need to adjust the clutch & take it to the Tag Agency to get the "black tag" removed then I'll be legal!

So, after a long six years, I think it's time to hit the road!

Randy

Thumbs up Congradulations

I feel for you as I am just starting to build my Kit. I know that I have 5 to 6 yrs of interesting times, to build my toy. Best of years of enjoyment to you. It's great to see a dram come true.

Good to hear, this Sat I will be starting my car since it's "rebirth" (550+hp motor) and can't wait to take her on her first drive(again)

Thanks!

It was an interesting 6 years & I don't regret a minute of it.

Congrats on getting her started and running. The forcast for Saturday looks like it will be nice enough for a first cruise.

I pulled the body back off my car to finish up wiring and the emergency brakes. I got just about everything I can think of rounded up for the car except for a clutch and pressure plate so I hope to have her back together by spring.
Let us know how it goes if (when) you get yours on the road this weekend.

Darren
