Default Anybody out on a cruise today??

Anybody go out on a cruise today? I had mine out for about an hour and a half today.

97 degrees outside, water temp never above 190, oil pressure 50 lbs., mp3 player blasting in my ears, no traffic, open roads, life is good!

WHAT A RIDE!!!

I had mien to the end of the driveway when I realized my system was not charging-Batt was showing about 11 amps. Just bought a new Alternator and I had it checked before I left O'Reilley's. Must have a wire off or loose...I just can't wait to lay upside down in the floor with my legs sticking straight up while my back rests on the front of my seat and my head is drilled into the floor. This stuff was much easier when I was younger.

Clois,

Hopefully it's a simple fix, if there is such a thing.

I've been in that position before, head at the pedals, & legs sticking straight up, I think it would've been easier to lift the Cobra up, turn it upside down & shake it until I fell out!

Tornado Alley Cobras:
What a beautiful evening tonight. Hope you had a chance to get out and enjoy the weather. My wife and I took the cobra to the Fudrucker Tuesday night cruise in for the first time. Several people came by and said nice things. Felt good.

There was a beautiful Ford GT with the Gulf paint scheme. Lots of 50s cars, and a smattering of everything else. Clois, I bought a few raffle tickets for your vette they are giving away this Saturday. I promise I'll let you come over and sit in it after I win it (grin).

Driving down Riverside on the way home we pulled up next to a guy in a new Nissan Z convertible stopped at a light. He gave us a once over, smiled, and said "nice car!" Felt good.

I had mine out a little this afternoon after it sat in the garage all weekend. It was great to drive it again.

Get used to the compliments Bob, I've had mine on the road since March & I still get them no matter where I go.

One of these Tuesday nights, we'll have to round up the TACC members & show up at Fuddruckers.

Randy
