Jenks Show
Is anyone planning on going tomorrow? They have taken all of the rain chances out for tomorrow and tomorrow night!
We'll have the BMMC tent out there. Feel free to stop by!

I'll be going to the Owasso cruise-in, I really want to help those guys get this thing up & running.
Good luck at the Jenks show!

I'm planning on going to the Jenks show. It will be my first time to enter a competition, so I don't know what to expect. The good news is that it is just a few miles from where I live.
I'm also looking forward to going by trinity restoration the following Saturday.

Well guys, how was the Jenks show?
Bob, how did you like your first car show as a participant?
We had about a dozen cars at the IHOP in Owasso tonight, had a great time! Got to do some night driving too!
Randy

I wish I could have gotten out to meet you guys. Didn't work out. Still tinkering on my car anyway. Maybe I'll have it out next week. Doubt I'll have it out this tuesday, even though the weather is great. See you guys sooner or later.

I'm going to also try to make it Saturday. Might go the Nitro Jam Races however.

The Jenks show was a lot of fun, and I enjoyed talking to a lot of folks. Many thanks to all for the kind words about my car. It is still "new and shiny" with only 300 or so miles, so I'm hoping to show it off a bit before I bang it up. All the posts about GY BBs throwing rocks are true... I've collected a lot of dings already, but man, those tires look great! (Thanks to my buddy Tom who repainted the letters for me).
It was great to see Clois and Buzz again, and to meet Paul and Mark (with the awesome 289 FIA). Wow! I also got to see an original DeLorean (which my 28-year-old son thinks of the way I think of a Cobra).
I'm going to try to make Trinity and the IHOP this Saturday, maybe the Chili festival in Claremore, as well. Hope to meet more of the Tornado Alley folks soon!

Bob, Glad you had a good time at the Jenks show! I think the most fun about having a car in a show is the people you meet there.
I can't make the Trinity event during the day, have those nasty "honey do's" to take care of during the day but I will be at the IHOP Saturday night & also at the Chili Festival. I hope you can make them both.
I'm looking forward to getting as many club members together as possible very soon, maybe at IHOP this Saturday night.
See ya,
Randy

Gotta agree here. Not really a car show whore. Really could careless about winning trophies, etc. I like meeting the people and hanging out with like minded car nuts.

I agree also. Nothing like hanging out in a parking lot with a bunch of Gearheads. Cars shows are a good change now and then.
Marty.
