Not good. Cracked up my body in October. Have a new body I'm working on. Progress is very slow.

Progress is slow but the Coupe is coming right along. Stanley Morton has the rotating assembly and the block working his magic on my 408 stroker and we are awaiting Keith Craft to finish the heads and top end. All things should come together in a week or so. Bryan Anderson is just about to finish all the final touches to the Body and then we can start making some serious progress with hopes of having it track ready for Putnam Park in Indiana in April.

My Cobra is running quite well and the only thing I have done to it is replace my fuel rail which seems to have made a tremendous difference in the throtle response. Went to AN 8 lines and a bigger fuel rail I found at the speed shop.

It's been cold outside but the shop is nice and warm, presently disassembling the frame so I can do the finish welding, got the 302 going back together and still working on the honey-do's so the house will be ready in the spring. I have spent more $ on blowing snow this year then ever, I'm on my third 5 gal can of gas just since November, and my machine is only an 8 hp model 28 in wide. Speaking of cold yesterday was -15 and today it's -11 and could get a little lower, good news is by Sunday it should be in the 20's, time to hit the beach,ha,ha. At least the shop is comfy at 60-65* from my wood stove.

Sounds as though you have a pretty good set up to keep your projects going in the OFF SEASON.

Just remember Spring is just around the corner.....

I have been working with my painter since before Thanksgiving to get my car painted. He said yesterday he will be shooting the color on it Monday.
It's a good thing it is 23 degrees outside because it's getting harder to be patient.

Good to hear from you guys.

Carl - dang thats cold! It's been cold here the last few days, about 15 degrees in the am, nothing like the cold you're putting up with!

Clois - screen name change??

Darren - what color are you going with? Don't forget the pictures!

Alpena, MI! I used to work up there a little (travel to anyway) I don't miss those winter trips.

Frame should be ready next week, so I'll get the joy of figuring how to mount the body on soon. Attempting a little prep work on the body right now. Kind of looking forward to it.

It's what we get instead of rain, only problem is it keeps accumulating until the weather gets warm enough to melt it, maybe by the 4th of july. Most of us up here don't take our cars out until after it has rained a couple times to wash the salt off the roads.

I've been notified that I'm a marked Man now after that post. I suspect a Tar and Feathering in the Spring if we get Snow. Better steer clear of Claremore and a Yellow Saturn Sky Driver!

Almost got the interior taken care of. Laid all the carpet, switch all the door panels, side panels and dash to black. Also got all new gauges. Gotta hook up with Clois and see what he wants for his seats. Looks soooo much better!

Hope all is going well for everyone!

Almost finished with pilot training. I'll get my next assignment in ten days - then I'll know where I'm moving to next. I'm shooting for C-17s to Hawaii.

Been finishing up all the details on the Spyder - did the alignment yesterday, been working on a leaky fuel pump, trimmed and coated splash guards and coated the wheel wells, cleaning up the interior... most of the details are on my cardomain page. I'm on standby with Stewart Transport to take my car out to California for paint, finally. I'll be taking off all the lights and such soon for that.

It'll be painted black.

Checked out your page. The build on your Spyder is nothing short of fantastic. What Craftsmanship. The Spyder will look stunning once it's completed. Nice job!

The pictures of the C-5's on the Flightline brought back a lot of memories of my United States Air Force career.

Keep 'em flying, Sir.

Marty.

Paul, glad to hear things are going well. Hoping to see you & the Cobra at IHOP in March.

Did you ever sell your old seats?

Randy

Thanks! It's nothing compared to a lot of builds but I'm pretty happy with it. It's almost bittersweet, the build coming to a close... it's awfully nice to ALWAYS have something to work on! I may have to start saving for a GTM next.
