Very nice Darren!
Can't wait to see it when it's all back together again!
Hopefully we can all get together this spring and go out on a cruise.
Post pics when the Cobra is put back together.

Thanks guys,
I'll definitely post a few picts when it's back together. It's going to be a fun spring.
The painter is going to try and get it buffed out by Saturday so I can pick it up.

Looks really nice...there is something about walking around a freshly painted car (maybe the fumes?) that is intoxicating.

Very nice, the hard part is over. As you start to put her back together she will start looking a Cobra, which will give you more incentive to work late nights and weekends to see her completed. Enjoy the ride!

Georgeous Darren,
Looks like your painter has done a great job. Now that you have it back you should have it on the road TOMORROW!

I'm right behind you
I especially like seeing the paint results Modified, since I am right behind you. Hope to post some "after" pics soon. I am going with a bright silver with light charcoal stripes.

That sounds like a good color combo? My coupe will be white with blue, sometime this year.

I made it home from the painter with it today. Does anybody know how long it will take for the paint to set up enough so it won't scratch it just by looking at it.
JDEAN, bright silver with light charcoal stripes should look great.

After my last new paint job, painter said not to wash with any soap or wax it for 3-4 weeks, and that was in the summer time. May take more time in cooler weather to fully cure.

Wow, nice job. Man, I need to paint another Cobra after looking at that. Those curves make that paint POP!!!
30 day's is the norm. Depends on the drying speed's of the Reducer's and Actvator's your very skilled Refinisher used. My compliments to your Painter.
Marty.

Awesome Darren, looks like the paint has that deep gloss to it. I hope you like attention, just wait until you drive it looking like that!
tool time George - don't think Roger is making kits anymore, seems he was in over his head. The kit is great one though, mine feels like a new car and handles great!
