London Show
Hey Guys, Just got home from the London Cobra Show, what a blast, more Cobra replicas gathered in one place was unreal. Mr Bob Bonduront was speaker at the Saturday night dinner, I got him to sign my build photo book, and during the day he was giving rides for CF charity in differant replicas, sometimes 3 times in the same car. The show was a little dissapointing as there was only FFR there representing the MFG'ers. There were lots of small vendors and a LARGE flea market (junk). My wife got to ride from the hotel area to London (about 16 miles) with a gal who had a real sweet car, and the wife is HOOKED, she wants me to sell the Merc so I can finish the Cobra.
Oh, by the way I got my new steering rack and the sidepipes now, the pedal assy and some other odds-n-ends. More later Carl.
PS, 980.9 miles round trip.

Great idea to have him sign your build photo book. So, now that your better half is hooked, are you selling the Merc?
Saw your latest build post today, looks like things are coming along good. Keep the updates coming.
See ya,
Randy

London Cobra Show 2009
Nine of us from North Alabama, (well, two are technical from Tenn. but we don't tell people that) attended the LCS together.
For me, 1274 miles round trip.
All of us had a great time. Friday five of us drove to Mid Ohio and walked around the pits. Two original Cobras and one GT 40, several Mustangs. Got to talk to the guys in the pits and they told us about the cars and a few stories. Great!!!
This was my 8 th time to go and the 7 th time I have drove my Cobra. I made six passes down Main Street. I love doing burn outs. And on Main Street with the Police watching.
I love meeting new friends at LCS and visiting with all the ones we have meet in years pass.
There were several that I did not seen this year. I hope they are doing well and we will meet next year in London.
Thank you Bob Bonduront for join us and sharing all the great stories with us Saturday night.
A special Thanks the OCC members, the UPS volunteers, the people of London and all the people that made this a great weekend for us.

See you next year
