Default B&M auto shifter neutral switch

Installing a B&M auto shifter that has a micro neutral safety switch.
Can I wire this up with the 12 ga. wire coming from ign. switch S post , into the micro switch and then to the firewall mounted solenoid switch for the starter?
Will the micro switch handle the amps? The switch has a rating of 15amps.
If not, can a relay be installed.
I do have a 12v, 30amp 4 post relay laying around.
Thanks
Dave

The solenoid doesn't draw a lot of power. I'd say it work without a relay.

what are you going to do for reverse lights? have you considered the ford type neutral safety with the reverse light switch? looks like you have a C-6 by your photos.

What reverse lights. Never had any.
The shifter does have a micro switch for those if needed.
