What do I have to do to pull the transmission, do I have to take sidepipes off. This is a BB427 in a SPF. Would appreciate any comments from you SPF guys Thanks Flip

It comes out from above, through the tranny tunnel.

Do a search for detailed instructions. Fairly easy. Engine and sidepipes can stay put.

Mine comes out from below, and no you do not need to remove the pipes. just unbolt it, use a tranny hold, drop it down and replace or fix.
