Default What bolt sizes

Hello all, here is the first of what I am sure will be many stupid questions. I have what I believe to be a Tremec TKO. The belhousing is steel, probably a lakewood since it does not look like the quick one. It is very rounded and no markings. One side of the mounting holes are captured and 7/16 course. The other side are not captured and NOT the same size as those captured. They require a larger bolt size but a 1/2-13 wont work. The 1/2-13 will not go through the holes in the trans. Any advice? Thanks
Jaime

Jaime,

You can go to Lakewoods web site, go to the download section and download a PDF based on engine size. It will show a diagram of the bell housing and will list all of the bolts needed at the bottom of the page. These are the required bolt size and strength for the bell housing.

Thanks for the replies yall. I believe I have a Mcloed skattershield. I guess a visit to their tech line is in order. Yeah, I was wondering about the metric aspect and could well be. I also noticed the block alignment pins are bigger than the holes in the BH. Wonder if I should ream the holes or change the pins. It is an Aussie 351C if anyone is knowledgable about those. Maybe the folks down under?? Thanks
Jaime

I guess i didnt eat my Wheaties before messing with the scattershield. 1/2 inch pins and the holes are a bit under that but its probably paint and crud and oxidation. Been sitting a LONG time. I should be cool with it. Still gotta figure out the mounting bolts though. Thanks yall
