Default Rear end oil

I would like to know what rear end oil to use superformance 8.8 rear end is 2 guarts of 75-90 with 4 oz. of ford friction reducer correct

My Currie 9" likes the 90-140. That is what Currie recommends too. I have a tru track so no modifier was required.

Is the 8.8 a "standard" Ford unit???? if yes,what does Ford recommend for these rear ends???? ask that question and you'll have your answer......

I used Amsoil 75-90 Synthetic gear oil with their friction additive.
