Default Toploader + Gear Vendors overdrive?

Has anyone done this? Does the Gear Vendors replace the tailshafthousing? Does it increase the overall length of the trans? Can it be installed in a short driveshaft Cobra?

I dont think it would fit. If it might fit, how long would your driveshaft be and how short is too short? Do you have an IRS?

Why pay that much for an overdrive unit when you can buy a new TKO for. $2300?

If you are running a close ratio toploader, you can switch to a wide ratio, and change your rear gears to 2.88's, and you'll have the same overall first gear ratio, now with an "overdrive" like top gear.

The torque splitter sounds fine, for lower power cars <400 '#s of torque.
