We have completed several new Toploader parts this month. It looks like the new DKT toploaders are just around the corner.

New parts now in stock:
1 3/8" close ratio input shaft
1 3/8" wide ratio input shaft
1 1/16" close ratio input shaft
Complete shift rail kit
1-2 and 3-4 shift cam and shaft
Reverse cam and shaft

The rail kit is the most impressive part yet. It really tightens things up. I never imagined one part or series of parts could make such a difference.

I am lost on the rail kit...does it replace the Hurst competition plus shifter?

Steve,
The rail kit is an internal part of the transmission. This is the brains of the shifting and making sure the transmission does not go into two gears at once. Most people do not recognize the wear or how important it is to the overall performance and life of the transmission. There were 6 different rail kits made through the years.

The rail kit consists of #21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 27 in the following Exploded View of a Toploader
