427 Mcleod clutch
I was having a hard time finding a 12" clutch for my 427. I called all the normal sources and I kept getting bad info. Everyone wanted to sell me an 11 or an 11.5" unit. Despite not being in their catalogs, nor seemingly available on their website, Summitt Racing (and probably Jegs) sells Mcleod units and throwout bearings. (800) 230-3030.
The 12" Mcleod clutch for a FE, (1 3/8 x 10) is part #360821 for the pressure plate, #260863 for the disk, and #16402 for the
throwout bearing. Summit sells the three for about $375 no shipping and no tax.
If a lightweight flywheel is your thing it is part number 563210. It retails for $542.50 and is cheaper at summitt or jegs.
