What size/length bolts do I need for the ford aluminum(351W)bellhousing to the tremec3550TKO? The bolts did not come w/ the bellhousing.

For the stock Alum bellhousing:

4 ea 7/16-14 x 2
2ea 7/16-14 x 1-1/2

I used studs, it makes in car engine to tranny mating a little easier

Wait, you meant bellhousing to tranny, they're 7/16-14 x 1-1/2 grade 8 or better.

Fastenall, a good place to get nuts and bolts for a good price.

Just a thought.

I'm using the cobra "R" bellhousing(FMS-M6392R58). I tried 7/16" bolts last nite and they fit OK but just a little thread play until screwed all the way in. I didn't know maybe there was a metric size needed for a more tighter thread fit.

Try a 12X1.75 metric 40mm long.

Wierd, I just double checked my Ford bellhousing and it's 7/16-14, maybe they changed to metric, I don't know but I'm going to play it safe and not give any more "advice"
