Default Clutchless 5/6 Speed Transmission question.

Does anyone have any experience with a "Clutchless 5 speed" and if so, can you indentify the pros and cons, other than price? I was considering this route to address issues with a small block to a big swap, that I am in the process of building. It was suggested to me that there are issues at low RPM's but they are great for purely race applications, but I don't anyone with experience with them. The application is for a daily driver/strip car.

Thank you,

Bernie

Bernie,

I have a SAENZ race 5 speed - which has dog engagement - and dont need to use the clutch to change. However - I still do use the clutch just to be gentle on everything - but you can move the gear lever as fast as you can to change gears, and it is a very fast stab of the clutch.

I have had people ask if the gearbox is a sequential change with rev control - it is that fast to change.
