Default Tremec high preformance transmissions

Hey there Cobra owners, my name is Jimi Guthrie. I used to work for Lone Star Classics, but now I work for Standard Transmission and Gear. I was just wanting to stop by and let you guys know that I can help you with all of your standard transmission needs. We specialize in the Tremec line, which includes the TKO500, TKO600, and the T56. The TKO's are 5spd units and the T56 is are 6spd model. If you are in need of a new or rebuilt tranny, or any parts for your existing standard tranny, give me a call up here @ 1-800-783-8726. We also offer parts and service on differentials and transfer cases as well as for all standard transmissions. Thanks for your time, and I hope to be hereing from you guys.

Jimi Guthrie

Default Shifting Problem

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jimi,
I have a TKO 600 with .64 5th. It shifts up through the gears just fine during normal driving. However, when I put pedal to the metal and rev into the upper regions It refuses to go into 4th or 5th until the speed drops way back down. The clutch is depressed all the way to the floor and I lift my foot off the gas between shifts. I wonder what's wrong.

Jim,

Are you using a centrifugal-assist pressure plate?
