Another Leaking TKO 600

In trying to locate a small leak in my TKO 600, I discovered a small thimble-like do-dad, top front, that has a small puddle of fluid at it's base. This thing can be wiggled around, and I'm guessing it's some kind of relief valve. Two questions, please: What is this thing, and if it could be the source of the leak, how do I fix it?

The piece on top is a breather valve, for the most part the only time it will leak is if the transmission is overfilled, that would be the first thing I would check. jimig@standardtransmission.com
