Are the lengths of the transmission, input/output shaft size and spline, shifter, etc the same? If anything is different, what is it? Thanks.
Find out if it has a 10 spine or 26 spline input shaft. If it's a 10 spline, it's a standard 3550 and if it's a 26 spline, it's a 3550 TKO. I have the 3550 TKO in my car and I love it.

Sal,
What's the difference between the two? I was offered this thing only a few hours ago and I don't know much about the 3550 at all. Does the 3550 TKO handle more power than the 3550? That's one of my concerns. Thanks.

Some of the TKO's have 10 spline too Sal. Mine is a TKO 500 with a 10 spline input.

I bought mine from Standard because Unique rec.'d them and I'm happy with them.

I was talking about the 3550 TKO, the original version.
