TKO 3550: Linkage Issue?
With no prior indication of a problem, the TKO 3550 in my Superformance Mk III became resistant to upshifting from first to second and second to third. Downshifts with a double clutch are not a problem; double clutching the upshifts allowed a smooth gear change. Several miles later, shifting from third to fourth became difficult, the shift from fourth to fifth is so far unaffected.
The car has 16000 miles. The transmission has never been serviced. I installled GM Synchromesh transmission fluid. The fluid level is OK. The clutch feels OK and there is no problem putting the car in first gear from a dead stop.
Any thoughts on what may have happened? I'd also appreciate any tips on removing the carpeted cover over the transmission tunnel.
Thanks!

A beautiful car, precisely assembled. Unfortunately I don't fit. Sold it after four hundred miles. Well, at least now I know a Cobra is not a car I can own.
