Default FE Lakewood question.

I bought a Lakewood scattershield from a forum member. It isn't the same as the one used on the Kirkham assembly manual on the forum. The Kirkham clutch fork gets jammed inside the bellhousing and there is no essentric for dialing in the bellhousing but it didn't need adjusting. It came in at .0015.
I thought the Lakewood had an essentric. I am confused but will talk to Kirkham tomorrow.

I`m pretty sure that Lakewood only offers one version of a FE scatterhield, although there have been changes made over the years to stay current with the SFI testing standards. I don`t know anything about your clutch fork getting stuck, what is it hitting on? I have owned several Lakewood FE scattershields over the years, and bought another new one this year (NHRA requires new or re certified scattershields every 5 years ). The scattershields don`t come with eccentric dowel pins for "dialin in" the housing, you have to but them seperately. Lakewood sells them,in 3 different offsets, as do a couple of other companies
