Default Tremec electronic speedo connection

Can anyone point me at a source where I can buy a connector to plug into the electronic speedo plug on a Tremec TKO?

I found this picture which shows the item. I am looking for a 2-wire connector to plug into the blue receiver near the top of the photo.

Thanks,

What brand of speedometer do you have? I had a VDO and used a Hall Effect Sensor that had 3 wires coming out of it and you just spliced the leads from the speedometer to them. One ground, one hot, and the sensor lead. I don't remember seeing a unit like that in any of my books.

Do what I did, simply go to your local Ford dealer and get the one for the T-5. I have Sport-Comp gauges and it worked like a charm. Cheaper than the one supplied with the gauges.

I am using a Smiths electronic speedo. The wiring is all fine and the speedo is working but I don't have the right connector. The wires are using VERY non standard bullet connectors which are barely holding on.

I know the connector has to exist somewhere???

Sorry Roscoe, didnt see your post before I hit submit!

I will wander to the local Ford dealership tomorrow and see what they have. I assume then that it is a 2-wire plug that hooks directly into the blue area.

Hi pcoghlan,
I wish I could give parts away but keep me in mind for other parts needed. The rubber plug that covers the speedo port is not a proper plug to cover the speedo. I also make midshifters and have a reverse lite switch that has weatherpack pigtail.

Mike, you have a link that shows different shifters you do for the Tremec?

Might be interested in switching from a race style to a 'hooked back' classic style.
