Soaking, soaking, yeah, I ran, but boy, did I get soaked to the bone while putting my trusty steed on to the trailer for the ride home......Not to forget that I left the convertible top in my basement this morning based on my 4:45am viewing on weatherchannel.com stating "partly cloudy with a 10% chance of rain showers"...Car is now tucked safely inside my tiny little one car garage with the dehumidifier sitting where the passenger seat usually does, working on the highest setting (non stop) since I got home this evening. I've emptied it's 1.5 gallon container twice so far, with the seats and carpets still making that strange "squishing" sound when pressure to them is applied...........I figure at this rate they should be dry by morning .
Yours in Fords,
Bill S.
PS: JM, Cranky, it was a blast (if even a short one) to be out on the track again....All (ok, most) of my cobweb encrusted skills have been cleaned up, and I'm ready to go at it again (weather permitting that is)....Just have to find the spare time (and spare cash)..But hell, you know I'm not afraid to be part of the 10% club .
PSS: 9:35pm Bill Karns has now picked up my trailer, and will be departing for the NERC event first thing Sunday morning
