I'm here, I'm here! Always open to getting together. Don't know what it is but there are alot of Cobras in the NJ area but only a few of us who drive them regularly, I guess.
Don't know about anyone else but since getting my car on the road in mid June I've put almost 5k on my odometer.
Are Cobra owners so individualistic that they don't like to get together in groups? Beats me.

Roscoe,
JM and I used to do the car show and cruise in crap but after a while you get tired of the same old BS of mine is better than yours. We now only do track stuff and could care less about who is fastest and just concentrate on having some fun.
Perhaps when you tire of the shows and cruises you will join us at the track.
Just read some of the crap about who has a real Shelby or who's fake Shelby is more correct than the next. This is car show crap and I don't need it.
We would be glad to have anybody join in with us at a track event, you don't even have to race just show up and have a good time.

Oh Cranky......
....yer starting to sound like a broken record! I'm sure by now everyone knows where you stand on car shows.
Bill, Roscoe,
I think what my "show & shine challenged" friend is trying to say is based on the new "format" we came up with at the Glen, it would probably really work out for all TriState members to attend the weekend event at the Glen next fall (2002). Its a beautiful 4 hour plus cruise to the track. Everyone could leave early morning or the night before (cars can be parked at the Seneca Lodge w/ no problems), stay for lunch (we BBQ now at the track) and have some fun watching Dr. Crankenhammer and FEZ drive over, under and around everyone.
Is that about right Roger??? Was that an invitation for all to Club Cranky???

John,
I'm all burned out on shows, hell, barely made it to more than four cruise nights the whole summer. Far too many others things more important for me to do/worry about. As for racing, I will make it to the Glen........If not now, later......Still waiting to hear more on Rousch Creek as well, as it sounds like that will be "the place" to be next year...................

Bad news at Rausch creek...
Bill,
Last I heard Rausch Creek has come up against the DEP!
This will definitely slow them down. No updates on their website since Aug. 29, 2001.

I'm here but you guys KNOW I'm one of those "show and cruise" guys not to mention a habitual real vs. replica defender/offender. Didn't think my type was appreciated.
Cranky: Eventhough you don't like the show stuff your judging participation is appreciated. I would rather have someone that knows these cars judging them then some guy who know next to nothing and is just looking to see who has less dirt on his engine. Alot of guys go to ALOT of effort and expense to make the cars correct historically. Its appreciated when you have judges that know what they are looking at. You to JM.
I have no problem going to the Glen to watch the event next time a major get together is planned especially if the Cheetahs show up.

Evan,
You are certainly welcome to come and hang out at Club Cranky at the Glen. If Bruce brings the Cheater I would be more than happy to Drive Black Beauty and give the PA boy a run for his money.
I won't even charge you for professional services.
Professor Cranky
BTW I know how to spell Cheetah
