Good alignment shop in NJ
A shop that knows SPFs. I noticed a shimmy @ 60mph to 70 mph. Dont want to take any chances. Hoping a dynamic balancing will do it, but would like a comprehensive 4 wheel alignment done by a reputable shop. Any Ideas?

I use EuroTire in Fairfield (may be the same one referred to as in Pine Brook). They have a computerized alignment machine and they really know what their doing. I've seen many race cars in there for work. He has done mine and another Cobra owner. Call and talk to Chris Bloomfield, one of the owners.

I go to Budman's in Trenton. They seem to know what they are doing.

I called eurotire and they're gonna help me out. I just need to find a day when I can skate out of work without the threat of rain.

Blue,
Have you looked out the window? It's like 70 already.
Let me know when you're dropping the car off. I live about 1/2 mile from there. I work out of my house so you can hang out here while they're working on it. There is also a diner next door if you want to grab lunch.

I just could not get into Eurotire. So I called Freeway and got right in. This was the first time I had the wheels off of the car, and it was TOUGH to get those knock-offs off. I railed on the fronts for 5 minutes...the guy that worked there was scared to whack the wheel with the lead hammer that hard so I had to personally do each wheel myself. There was a point where I really didnt think they were coming off. Well all the wheels were unbalanced, the rears didnt even look like they were balanced at all. It was a dynamic balancing, so I have the sticker weights on the front of the wheel also. I didnt really want the weights on the front where you could see them but I had no choice. It IS like a new vehicle now I had it up to 85/90 on Rte 80 on the way home and it runs smooth as silk. It guess Ill just have to lump the weights on the outside of the wheel. Thanks Mrmustang for the referral, they spoke highly of you.

BlueRooster-
Did you also have the alignment done? If so, how much did they charge you to have it done? I imagine I'll have to make mine in to have it done once I get the car on the road.
Thanks
Mike
