Possible Tri State August Outing

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to put together an outing for this August. I'm thinking about something small for starters and if it should develop into something larger, all the better.

Last year I got an offer from a Best Western Hotel in Northeast PA that included a two night hotel stay and an "all you eat" lobster feast for $330.00 per couple. Unfortunately due to short notice it never happened as most people had other committments.

If enough people are interested I would be willing to check with the hotel to see if they'll offer the same package. The hotel has a large grass field in front and also a large field with an outdoor pavillion in the rear.

If I can get a confirmed interest level of at least ten people I can proceed to begin arrangements with the hotel. Attached is a copy of the deal that the hotel offered me last year.

How much notice do you need? At the moment my project is still not completed and I would need to see where I am at a few months before August. Very interested though.

Hi Mike,

I understand that some guys are still in their build stages and it would be hard for them to commit at this time.

In order to get the ball rolling I figure if I can get at least ten guys interested who are willing to commit before the end of this month I can contact the hotel and start the ball rolling. I'm sure that the hotel would be amenable to latecomers. If hotel space becomes a problem, there are a few other hotels/motels in the area.

As of now I am looking at either the weekend of August 20th or August 27th.

I know that it may seem quite early to start putting this togeher but the earlier we can lock in the hotel we'll avoid space being a problem.

I spoke to a couple of guys in Sussex County and they are interested for the most part in a one day affair - going home for night. Don't want to leave cars in parking lot. We'll keep in touch.
