Snowstorm Cruise
Anyone what to go for a snowstorm cruise in NJ?? Just kidding!
With the weather we have been having I guess we all feel the same. All we can do is talk about cruising. That is unless there are some die-hard drivers out there?
Enjoy the white stuff. Make a cobra snowman.

Bill - I think the term for you would be "hardcore". BTW - any hints on driving a Cobra on ice - to get out of my development?

Directions for driving Cobra on ice:
A: Call local municipal road dept and tell them your 87 year old grandmother just slipped on the ice on your road and your going to have to contact your attorney in the morning if something is not done ASAP to get your road cleaned off and dried out.
B: Wait for salt truck to come down road, allow 1/2 hour for salt (not really salt anymore) to work, pull Cobra out of garage, drive down freshly cleared road.
C: If A + B does not work, call friend with commercial plowing business, pay him the $10 (and promise him a ride in your Cobra) to salt down a path from your driveway to the main access road.
D: If A+B+C does not work, await spring thaw you pansy
Bill S.
PS: yes, there is a 4X4 Cobra running around Sussex, NJ, it is mounted on an older style Bronco with a 90" wheelbase........................Problem is, he only takes it out to "trail" events, and will not drive it in the snow the pansy.............

Did anyone go for a cruise in this latest snow storm? Maybe if we put skis on the front end we will be able to use them all year round? How about replaceing all the wheels with tracks, similiar to the ones they have for four wheel drive trucks, I think that would work with a few modifications.

After using the snow blower for two hours, I did indeed take my "Cobra of the quarter" out for a spin............

That was very daring Bill, considering how bad the roads were.
My Cobra has not seen the putside since the winter started..

My snow crews are not that bad bot they dont get up all the ice that is still on the road. With the horse power that these cobras have we have a hard time tring to keep the tires from spinning I can only imagine how hard it is when it is cold and icy. I wil wait for the spring thaw to take my out for a spin or two.
