Well,
I guess I'm somewhere in the middle. I normally eat dinner around 6pm. But I can be flexible. Doesn't matter to me. That is one of the big reasons we chose June. Lots of daylight.
The one place I have in mind is called Goodnoes. It's in Newtown, about 20 minutes away. It's a local very well known family restaurant. They are locally famous for their ice cream, but they have a full dinner menu too. One of our friends here may have an inside track, so I'll keep you posted. If we can go there, it'd be perfect. It's in a very nice neighborhood and plenty of parking.
Hey Tollbooth male, I could use your help with a cruise route. I think we may have good news for the parking in New Hope. So if we can incorporate a stop there along the way... Ideas? I'm trying to grow weeds in the ravine for you so that you're more comfortable.
Steve

Gotcha covered, KlayFins...
...Corky and I are gonna get it together and whip up some kinda loop around, hitting some spots of interest and such....if the damn weather ever gives in. I'll see iffn we can get this done this weekend - 'spose to be o.k. I will try to crank out some kind of map for this too...can pass them out at the Revolution rather than try to include them with the applications. And - since a pass thru NewHope is essential , that will be on the map too.
MmmMmmm...that holler soundin more like home all the time...might have trubble gettin me out.

Cool. The application/registration form is already out anyhow. www.snakebitebyklayfish.com/cobrarevolution.pdf I agree with you completely on just handing them out when you get there. If we can get some kind of map and directions, either drawn or computer....I can run off a bunch of them here at work. Talk to Corky about the Goodnoes for dinner idea. I think it's a great spot.
The New Hope pass through is just a fun idea. The Solebury High School said we can use their parking lot for free. I just have to fill out a form and get a permit from them.
I'll try to grab a photo of the ravine for you. It's nice and long and winds up in a small creek, so you've got some fancy bathroom and shower facilities!!!

Any chance you can post the map online so that if anyone has any input on any locations we may be crusing thru or stoping at. Just in case they may know any hot spots of the town we are going to.
Thanks
Felix

Felix, good idea. I posted a website in the registration form too. That site is www.newhopepa.com It's got info on New Hope and some maps. You can also try any search engine and type in New Hope, Pa.. You'll find tons of info.

Evan,
Do you want me to have my mom call your mom and ask her if she'll let you stay out later?

Evan,
I wouldn't worry about eating, rumor has it they aren't even "real" burgers - they're some kind of replica made by "Bocca", although the wrappers ARE aluminum.

Klayfish,
If you need help let me know.
I'am real good at driving around and scouting out cruise routes.
Eating at 4:00 is not what I like to do, it's just starting to cool down, nice cruising time.
My mom said I could stay out late if the head lights work.
Mike

Damn Jim, it's gettin' rough in here, ain't it?
Mike,
You should try to hook up with Corky and Turnpike Boy. They're working on the cruise route. We're trying to keep it in the local area, as dinner is going to be fairly close by and we're stopping in New Hope.
My thoughts about dinner timing would be roughly between 5:30 and 6:00pm. That way it's not too early, though it may be a little earlier than some are used to. At the same time, it'll leave enough daylight after dinner since it doesn't get dark until almost 8:45 or 9 in early June. We'd probably finish dinner around 7 or so. IMHO, that's also great time to take another ride. Just as the sun is starting to go down and it's cooling off some. So whether your heading home, to the hotels or elsewhere, it should be great for an after dinner cruise.
It's all coming together well. Looks like we'll have free, safe and open parking in New Hope too. I applied for the permit at New-Hope Solebury High School parking lot today (less than 1/4 mile walk from downtown New Hope). We're working on dinner and the caterer now.

Hotel Information
For the guys planning on staying over Sat to Sun, here's an update.
I called the Comfort Inn in Valley Forge and the original price they had quoted me a month ago of $79.00 has increased to their Seasonal rate of $139..00 a night and they wouldn't budge.
I called the Hampton Inn in King of Prussia, right next to the Comfort Inn. They wanted $89.00 for the night, but came down to $80.10. I booked a room there.
If anyone is staying over and hasn't booked a room, try the Hampton Inn. There number is (610) 962-8111. If you call ask to speak with Ivan and mention that your with the Cobra Revolution.
