New Cobra owner in NJ
Hey guys, I just bought an Everett-Morrison (Black with Gold stripe) 513ci, 5sp Tremec, and more fun stuff. It's my first Cobra and I would like to get involved in some local events if possible. I look forward to hearing from you guys (and seeing you at local events!). I want to thank many of you for helping me in my purchase as well!
Josh

Josh,
Congratulations!!! Sounds like a monster of a motor you got there. Have a great time with it, but be careful.
Yeah, the north Jersey guys get together plenty. Be careful around them though....they can be dangerous.
There are a few events coming up. Carlisle is in a few weeks, the Cobra Revolution II, and DVSFIV. You may also enjoy giving autox or open track a try. Lots of us guys in the area do that stuff (it's addicting).
Steve

Josh:
Congratulations on your purchase. I was following the sale of the car here on clubcobra and figured you were the new purchaser.
Car sounds like a beast. But I agree with Steve, if this is your first cobra, be very careful and take it slow. You can get into trouble in a blink of an eye.
I live right next to you in Chatham and would love to see your new car. Drop by anytime, would be happy to give you my address. Also most of us around here are heading down to the Cobra Revolution II in a few weeks, hope you can make it.
If you need any assistance or wisdom, I would be happy to advise, along with most of us in the area.

Congrats on the new car. I'm even closer than Jim, I'm over in Springfield.
We should try to make the JR Cruise night.

Best of luck... Sweet ride!
If you ever get as far as the Jersey Shore (Point Pleasant) give me a call... I'd love to see the car.

JRs is probably a great idea when is the first one?
I also took a run down to Somerville on Friday...met Mike/ERA649 and we should try to get a good group of us to head out to PA for the Revolution. Sounded like a good idea, and I'll bet we can actually get a caravan of at least 7 Cobras.

Good luck with your new toy.
Drive safe, smile big and enjoy.
Hope to get together with all once car is on the road -- or heck once it is in my garage in pieces!

Agreed!
Rick,
Thanks for the note. I am indeed giving ample time to getting aquainted with the car (which is half the fun..it's almost like a slow tease). I look forward to going to as many of the events as possible (with 3 little kids). I hope to see you (and all the fellow tri-staters) soon.
Josh
