Speak to Bill Moretti and tell him your a Cobra friend of mine. They have 3 facilities but the one you want for Powder Coating is in Dover, along side the tracks. You can drive over and see and choose samples, colors, etc. I know him and his family personally and you'll have no problems what-so-ever. Their developing a pretty strong Custom Hot Rod following. If you have trouble reaching Billy at the shop then call me and I'll get you dialed in.

POWDER COATING? NOT. Get them ceramic coated. Check the yellow pages on the internet and do a 100 mile search. Ceramic coating will last and significantly reduce the engine bay temps. The coating should be both inner and outer on the headers.

Josh, I had my side pipes ceramic coated by Swain Technology. While they are some distance from you in upstate NY, their ceramic coating process and quality is excellent.
The ceramic coating will have the appearance of rough sandpaper and is pearl white. My preference was for black and I sprayed the side pipes with Bill Hirsch high temp black paint whiich adheres very well.

Josh, how long have you been running the car with the painted ceramic? I wanted to do that but was talked out of it by the ceramic people here in AZ. He said that he didn't think the paint would last long due to the characteristics of the ceramic coating.

Double Ugly, regarding your question to Josh:
I sprayed the ceramic coated side pipes with the high temp black immediately after being coated. The surface was clean and had not been contaminated with any road dirt, grease, etc., etc., I do not know if Bill Hirsch's high temp paint is any different than other high temp paints, but his products have an excellent reputation in the antique car world.
Swain mentions their process is proprietary, which may or may not be the same as other ceramic coatings. Appears some times the term " ceramic coating " is used in a generic manner. With the rough surface of Swain's ceramic , the high temp paint adhered and has not peeled, chipped etc. I had asked Swain about spraying over their ceramic coating and while they did not have any personal experience, they could not think of any reason why it would not work. Touch up is very easy. Appears some coatings referred to as ceramic are as smooth as the paint on an auto, might make a difference if attempting to use another coating product, such as the high temp paint.
Prior to having Swain's ceramic coating , I had another vendors standard coating, not ceramic, and the high temp paint would not adhere.
Rough guess, approx 50 engine hours ++, mostly local/short trips where the heat and cool down cycles would be more frequent.
