Come on guys, its only going to rain a inch or two, and the wind is only gusting to 50 mph, if this was England it would be a nice for a cruise.

My parking lot is flooded. I have to wear rubber boots just to get to the Tahoe! And as I left my girlfriends condo this am (on the 23rd floor facing the Palisades), I noticed her chandelier swaying. Yes, the wind is pushing the building too. Methinks my little car might have a time staying on the road too.
Next time guys. I'll be a sissy today.

OK, that's true.....
Quote from Chapstick -
TPB- You have all day tomorrow to fix it. What's the problem with meeting on Sunday
Well.....as this is being written on Monday, I suppose I'm a day late and a dollar short. As usual.
The fix IS simple, Chaplips - yank out the old and stick in the new - takes about 20 or 25 minutes to do. But - ya gotta have a new slave cylinder to do this. And the only guy locally who has one was closed from Thurs. to today...meaning no part to do fixin' with until today. Coulda ordered it from somebody on Friday, but then wouldn't have it until Wed. or so.
No big deal. Rained too freeekin hard Sunday to have enjoyed it anyway.

Smiling?
In Montclair? For the years I lived there I was under the impression that was frowned on.
Still. There's a Daytona Coupe in his garage these days, no? I can see how that would put a smile on a face.

Quite a nice coupe, at that.
And Mr. Picketing/Striker/Get your a$$ back to work toll takers, don't you feel so much better in New Hope now, where everyone smiles at you. Especially the guys???
I was wondering if anyone went out on that cruise, as I was watching the torrential downpours on Saturday night into Sunday. Got my Mustang out for a trip around the block, but that was it.
Check out the thread about our Cobra Christmas party next weekend. If you can make it, cruise on down.
Steve

Steve,
The party is being held at TGI Fridays isn't that in a mall?
I thought Cobra's were allergic to malls, with all the shopping carts, kids and not to mention crazed christmas shoppers.
But it could be a nice ride down.

It's not in the mall itself, it's in the general area of the mall. The whole area around there is really built up, it would be hard to find a place that was isolated. I think a few others are bringing their Cobras. I'm sure they can be parked where you can see them from the restaurant window.
Besides, this time of year, it's mostly womenfolk shopping, and the Cobra ain't big enough to carry all the stuff the buy home, so nobody will come near them. They'll just go back to their Excursions.

'S'up, homeboy?
Baby need feeding? - yer up awful early.
Ah, it's good for you. Serves you right, too, after those mean-spirited toll collector jabs.
Besides, that's the PA Pike, not the Joisey Pike. And - I don't collect the tolls, except in my paycheck
As to New Hope - walk softly, Mr. BloodSuckingInsuranceCzar - you might get a visit from some interesting men........

Roger,
If they're from New Hope, you've got to check twice to make sure they're men...
Up early? I'm already in my office when I make these posts. I get here at 6:15 every morning. Working my butt off..... I actually don't get to see Josh in the morning. He's still asleep when I leave.
You going to make it to next weekend?
Steve
