Sunday would likely be good for me too.
Plus, by Sunday, TPB should have digested enough of his Turkey dinner so that little block will have enough power to move him and the car.

Chaplin,
You really believe that crap TPB is selling? Small block and all?
Unless you let him lead you should only see a red dot in your rear view mirror.

99,
I would love to follow your tail lights in the spring, I will be the siliver dot in the rear view.
everyone else,
I meet where ever you want, since last time I only had to drive 2 miles to the meet I don't think everyone will be so kind this time.

Chaplin,
Don't confuse black marks on the pavement as an oil slick, occasionally I will lay down some rubber coming out of the corners.
As far as throwing a rod, I already did that with my Side oiler, why do you think I run a sb? Besides a sb at 7,500 sounds better than a BB at 6,500.

Chaplin,
A half tank of gas to to go 25 miles?? That's about 2 miles a gallon even I get 4.5 to a gallon.
So where do you want to meet.
Blue Rooster, you coming?

How 'bout meeting west of Philadelphia?
Roger, do you drive like my grandfather used to?? My speedo is screwed up, which messes up my odometer, so I can never be sure....but to the best I can figure it, I get roughly 10mpg on the highway and 6-8 around town. One hungry small block.

Fins, of course I drive like your grandpappy......I'm as old as him, no?
Around town is a pretty steady 8 mpg, provided I don't keep my foot in it past half throttle; if I do it sinks pretty quick.
Going and coming to Ohio back in June I tried to keep good numbers on it - and wound up with a consistent 18.6 - 18.7 mpg at a steady 85 mph. Just gotta love the Pennsy Turnpike .
'Course, you do carry a bit more displacement than me.
West of Philly is fine by me. Maybe up towards Allentown? - then we might just be able to get that reprobate Rich Siegfried to pull his car outta the garage and stop waxing it for an hour or so....

TPB,
What you are saying is true (I am full of sh for the most part.
But, I do know one thing for sure it's always colder in Pa. then NJ in the winter, keep this in mind when you pick a spot to meet.
Many of us may go topless!

Yes, some of us are topless. Again, any serious thoughts on where and when? Weather permitting....
(10mpg too.... might have to do with all the fun I have driving)

So where do we meet. It looks like we have 3 guys from the eastern half of NJ, me in the middle, and 2 guys from Pa.
I did like those roads, in the hills on the west side of the Deleware River, TPB took us on at the end of the last ride.

Fun, fun...
...be glad to go with you again, SixFourNine. There are LOTS more where those came from. Really. Trick is to not worry about getting lost, 'cause each road got to come out somwhere.
Allright, then. Are wives coming to this? - there needs to be consideration to this aspect; if so, then a spot where there's more than just a ginmill is - to be plain - self-preservation on our part. Peddlar's Village in Lahaska, PA (right on 202, about 6 mi. west of the Delaware River) has lots of cozy shops for those so inclined, and a couple halfway decent bars for us to warm up in. Food is so-so; couple fancier restaurants too, but I still think food is, for the most part, so-so. Lambertville is o.k., not lots of restau's, some stuff to look at, but this time of year it slows down on Sundays, meaning they would be back quick.....and you know how they get then.
No wimmen? - shee-it, any watering hole will do.
