I'll be out with the "R" Model, perhaps the CJ or YJ afterwards.......

I was up in your neck of the woods today Bill. All the roads that lead to 23 from 80 are awesome. If you'll be out tomorrow, post a time and I'll look for you.
I hope your feeling better, a spirited drive on a brisk January day will put anyone in a good mood. BTW, Do you have pics of all those potential rides for tomorrow??

Dane,
Was already out this morning, made a nice little 30 mile loop around the area, YAWN!!!!!!!!! Not even a challenge when it's 50 degrees and sunny at 7:30am......Not even what I consider brisk................
As for the roads leading to 23 (Green Pond Road in particular) in my area, a little bumpy at the start, but yes, one nice place to take a ride..........

Bill,
What CJ do you have? I drove my CJ5 last week froze my A$$ off, no roof ,no heat & 28 degrees.
Dane,
Give a little more time to get Cobra together, maybe by Sunday, I'll be ready to test the new trans.

ERA649,
I've got a 84 CJ7, 258ci, 4spd....., engine, clutch, transmission and heater core all rebuilt/replaced in the last 20,000 miles. 31X10.50X15 fronts, 31X11.50X15 rears. Hard and soft tops. I also have a 4cyl 5spd 95 Wrangler with a plow that I just picked up last week to clean the parking lot at a building I manage part time while the owner is in Florida. Almost certain that it will not snow for the rest of the year now that I have it . The 84 CJ will soon be up for sale, if you know anyone interested, price will be $3,600 FIRM.

Hey Bill I was out too. Can't seem to get any heat out of my heater. I may have hooked up the vacuum lines back wards or there is an air bubble in the core. I just got to get to work on it.

Art,
Try switching the heater hoses, also make sure you have a theromostat installed. I suggest a 180 degree unit.

What's up with all these Cobra folks being Jeep owners too. I have an 88 YJ with a plow. Rebuilt 258, 5 speed, hard top, and the capital cop-out: air conditioning. I bought it new.
