Al,
The CRIII is Saturday, June 4th. It's located in Washingtons' Crossing, Pa., which is at the border of PA and New Jersey. In a nutshell, we're doing a BBQ/car show lunch, followed by a long poker run/cruise. The drive will end at a spot for dinner and evening activity. If enough people come out and want to stay the night, we'll definitely make plans for Sunday the 5th. We're finalizing details now. Our goal is to have 50 Cobras and 100 people. We got close to that last year, despite having to reschedule due to weather.

Let me know if you want any other info. Or if you've got any suggestions, we're looking for ideas.

Steve

Lightbulb Nah, JM, you're confused....

....remember that Jersey INVENTED the modern toll road. It has become a standard for money-grabbers the world around, 'specially some in the Garden(?) State.

'Course, for Jersey pols, taxes weren't enough, so they take the tollroad money too. That's the difference - in PA, there's enough space to spread out that they forget you exist. Unlike Jersey, where they don' forget nuthin.

As to ass-kickins.... Fugeddaboutit.

And there ain't nothing can be said that will take Lil' Jimmy ShortPants - and Joisey - off the Laughinstock List.

Update everyone.

Our meeting on March 5th will be held at Goodnoe restaurant in Newtown, Pa. That's close to the PA/NJ border, in Bucks County. Their website is www.goodnoe.com if you need directions. It will be at noon. Lunch is $12 per head and includes a choice of sandwiches, tax and tips. We will have our own private room. Which will be great. It'll allow us to roundtable ideas without the crowd and noise of the general dining room. The restaurant needs an accurate head count, so please let me know ASAP if you're in. More details on our forum at www.midatlanticcobras.com

Oncebitten,
To be honest, I'm not too familiar with Delaware. My thoughts would be I-95. Goodnoe is right off of I-95 in PA. Check out their website, posted above. Or go over to our club site, also posted above and ask there. We've got several Delaware residents who can help out. Maybe if they're coming, you can follow them. Sorry I can't be more helpful, we'd love to have you join us. I just don't want to give you bad information, and wind up having you get lost in New Jersey. That would be like death!!

Bringing this up one more time. I need to get an accurate head count for our meeting on March 5th. Again, it's at Goodnoes in Newtown, Pa. at noon. www.goodnoe.com for directions. We have our own private room, so I need to let them know how many are attending. If you're going to make it, please let me know.
