Default Adding an autox to Cobra Revolution III? Any interest?

We've already got the days' events planned out for Saturday, June 4th, the official date of CRIII. There will be the lunch/car show followed by a long cruise/poker run. We have Rob Weatherby coming to the show and bringing his Dyno Pak, so if you want to know how much power you're making, here's your chance.

However, we agree that we'd love to have some kind of driving event where we can safely and legally push our cars and really let it hang out. The Philly region of the SCCA is having an autox on Sunday, June 5th. It's at Northampton Community College. The downside is that it's about 50 miles away from the site of CRIII, and registration starts early in the morning. Of course, the plus side is that it's a sanctioned autox. We can go and run our cars as hard as we want.

So would anyone be interested in going to an autox on Sunday, extending the CRIII into a second day?

Steve

Krayfish Had a great time at the show last year but you picked a bad weekend. The big Ford show is at Carlisle the same week end. I go for the swap meet. What are the rain dates if it rains. I was going to tow the car down for the day. If you make some shirts I will take 2 one XL and 1 med. Sorry I wanted to go, next time Rick Lake

Rick,
Unfortunately, as you know, there is never a weekend in the summer time when we wouldn't conflict with something. Carlisle, the Fling, FFR open house, etc.... I like this time of year because there is more daylight, less heat than in July and August. Rain date is Saturday June 11th, but hoping it won't be needed.

I was literally working on the registration form 5 minutes ago and hope to have it out today. An autox is on the schedule for Sunday. If you want to try to stop by for any part of the weekend, just let me know.

I think it's a great idea Steve. How much does it cost?

I've got to check their site, but if I recall, it's about $25. You'll get about 4 or 5 runs, depending on the size of the crowd.

Rick should be disqualified from the autox. He has power steering .

Steve- right now those dates look fine for me.

And finally stop throwing peanuts out of the cheap seats Hope you and the family are well. Have not seen you on the thread in a while. Rick Roder was even looking for you I will give you a call and see if you want to go to Carlisle Kit car show in May on the 21st. Rick-
I was on vacation for a week and then have been incredibly busy at work. I've only checked the boards a couple times in the last few weeks.

Let's talk about Carlisle, I'd like to go.
