Cobra Revolution IV weather updates here....
It wouldn't be the Cobra Revolution without weather issues, would it??
I'm watching the forcast every couple of hours. From all sources I can see at this moment, the rain is supposed to end overnight Friday and the sun will come out on Saturday afternoon. So as we stand now, we're going forward. Keep your eyes here for updates.
Steve

Roger,
It's not an inconvenience - we all appreciate your taking the decision early and keeping us posted along the way. Also, thanks for taking the initiative along with Steve to get this thing organized.
Look forwarding to having the event next weekend (with hopefully some nice weather).
Regards,
Mike

Awright!
While out looking for America on the New Jersey Turnpike this morning, the weatherguy says Saturday is gonna be real, real nice; puffy clouds and around 75*, dry and comfy.
WooHoo! Bring it on!

Weather is going to be pretty bad up until Friday - which is good. Maybe it will give us a break on Saturday. Can be any worse than last Saturday. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

So is the weather going to actually clear up in time for this Saturday?
Is the event still on?
Anyone from Northern NJ riding down?
Inquiring minds want to know.

We are trying to get down there as well. Some of our NJ customers are attending I believe and we would like to meet up with everyone.

So what is the verdict?
Anyone else from Northern NJ want to caravan down? Meet in Morristown?
ERA649, if nothing else we can try and meet up.
Assuming the weather looks good tomorrow morning I am in.
I will be driving down from Sussex County.

I thought we all from northern NJ were planning on meeting in Morristown at 10:00am at the Chase Bank parking lot on South Street and then heading down RT 287 to RT 202 and then picking up a few more at the Bagel Barn. Is this still the plan? Who else is planning on meeting in Morristown.

Jim,
That sounds good weather permitting. I may have to make it a little bit later in Morristown if the roads are still too wet etc, etc.. I'm about 45 minutes away from Morristown.
I know that was the plan last weekend, but I hadn't heard a firm plan for this weekend.
Let's keep posted to this thread.

Weatherunderground.com, favorite of pilots and contractors, tells us the day will be about 40% cloud cover; 10% chance of precipitation thru the day.
The weather WILL be awesome....bring a pullover or hoodie and you'll be rewarded with one truly fine day!
Jay, bring some of your stuff with you - would love to see one of your BDR's up close. C'mon down, bro; you will be welcomee as will everybody else!

I have looked all over... do you have a timeframe for the event?
Just put another coat of wax on our Speedway Blue car, finalized the Mass-Flo EFI but no time to get it properly aligned. Will bring it down but looks like it will be show only. So we plan to be there to hang out and show off a Backdraft a little.
Sounds like a good event that should grow with the years. Looking forward to it.

Jay
Try this link out for info. Its just the rain date tomorrow. Starts at 11am or when you get there. Will be a cruise around 130 or so. It will wind around, getting you at some point close to Rt 78 and home if you like.

Jay,
Would be great if you and/or Brian come down. I plan to be there and I think Tom is also coming. Washington's Crossing is beautiful.
Look forward to seeing you there.

Latest forcasts are looking great. Supposed to clear up more and more as the morning goes on. By afternoon, it's supposed to be bright sunshine and 75. Perfect weather. Great day to relax, hang out and check out the cars.
We're really looking forward to seeing everyone there. Jay, feel free to bring down whatever you'd like. You're more than welcome to show off what you've got.
Come hungry, because Ely's serves some great burgers and pulled pork!!!
See ya there.
Steve

It's 7:34 am.
Still pretty cold, cloudy and windy.
Anyone care to push back the proposed meeting times a bit?
We were talking 10:00am in Morristown and 10:30am on Rt 202 (Bagel Tree)
