Last Shows of the Season!
To all the "Jersey Boys"
I am planning on attending the two following car shows/gatherings in the upcoming weeks. Due to my racing schedule, my Cobra has gathered more dust than miles this year and I figured it was time to blow out the Weber's before year end. I have attended both events in the past, and weather permitting, both can be really fun. While I have no vested interest in either show, was just hoping to see a few other Cobra's attend. They are as follows:
1. Summit Car Show. Scheduled for Sunday 9/24 from 10am-4pm. While the event is a little long (scheduled for 6 hours), the turnout is pretty good.
2. Columbus Circle Gathering. Scheduled for Sunday 10/1 from 7am-9am. Additional information is here on Club Cobra. Just search "Columbus Circle". I believe last year there were between 20-25 Cobra's.
If anyone needs more information or would like to coordinate schedules, just PM me.
Jim

Stop by the RT23 Automall in Butler this Sunday as the GSRMC is putting on their annual fall show. I would hate to be the only Cobra there .

Bill S.
What is the time for GSRMC show this Sunday?
Jim B.
The Summit Show is located in downtown Summit, NJ. Will post tomorrow a web site with information on the event.
As to the Columbus Circle event, on the circle in front of Time Warner Center in NYC (59th Street and 8th Ave). You can find information here at ClubCobra for the event.

Jim -- I am going to try to make the Columbus Circle. More than likely if it is good weather I'll go. Work may interfere.
Bill -- May make it up to Butler on Sunday. Depends on how much time I get with kids on Saturday.

Jamie:
Lets touch base the Saturday before 10/1 and confirm. Since you are coming down from Bergan County and me most likely from Morris County can meet up on the NJ side before heading into the city. Was hoping to get a few more NJ guys to attend.
Bill:
Will also try to make the Butler show, bet it depends on what the kids have planned and the weather. Will not know until the day before.

Jim,
At the moment I am going to meet up with Jeff Sheppard up here on the north side with the plan to take the GW.
I was going to give Chappy a call and get him on board (where is Dane?) and have him meet up with you.
Lets figure out how many committments we can get.

24th is out as I have the Cobra breakfast in the AM in Chester and need to be at my parents home for a family dinner at 3pm getting ready for the high holidays. The 1st I'll be driving back up from the Rehoboth Beach Fun Run put on by the Capital Area Cobra Club.
This Sunday I'll be at the Butler lot by 8am to help set up, headed down Green Pond Road to RT23 south to the lot...Fun ride.
