Okay!!!!

If you want to run through Sussex County, I can meet up with everyone at New Orleans Steakhouse located in the center of RT 15 (Jefferson Township). I'd say it's about 2 miles north up Rt 15 from 80 west.

If you meet in Morristown at noon, you could make it to New Orleans Steakhouse by 12:30 - 12:45.

Keep me posted.

So as of this morning looks like we are a go. Since the banks are closed today for Veterans Day, lets all meet behind the Chase Bank on South Street at noon today.

As to trip route, I am pretty much open - Sussex County or otherwise is fine. So who is actually in: Dane, Ziggy, Jamie, Jeff, Mike, Rich, Bernie, JBo, CB?

I'm out for today. I have some yard work I have to get done this weekend, and it looks like it's going to rain tomorrow, which leaves me with only today to get it done.

I'm up for an late morning ride, but have to be here in Rockaway to show a building at 1pm. Anyone want to start around 11am, meet at the Hibernia Diner off exit 37 on RT80 and check out the technical route (mostly low speed below 45mph but still a great ride) I use to test all my suspension modifications (paved), let me know as it follows the eastern section of Picatinny before dumping back on to Green Pond Road near the golf course and is really a nice drive.

Everyone,

I am in!

We just need a plan!

Do you want to trek out to Sussex County? Do you want to try Bill's technical ride? Or, do you want to keep the ride located more in the Morristown area.

Of course I am biased, but I would love to see everyone rumble through Sussex County.

Are you still shooting for a 12:00PM meeting at the Chase Bank parking lot?

Depending on who is in, do you want a second meeting at the New Orleans Steakhouse?

Let's try to have a definitive plan by 10:00am.

Well - it looks like a blow out at this time with schedules changing. Also as of now the weather does not look very promising for a drive - but you never know. As a result, I am also withdrawing and depending on the afternoon weather and my yardwork schedule most likely take the car out for an hour or two this afternoon for only a couple hours. Will mostly likely stay around morris county. Anyone for this informal cruise, let me know.

Wink

Don't let the clouds fool you, flight radar shows no rain within a 300 mile radius of northern, NJ. 45 degrees right now with a high of 64 degrees by 11:30am, what more could you ask for on a fall weekend .

Well if you ever wanted to know what it feels like to be on a race track without the worry of exceptional high speeds, I'm still more than willing to take you guys on my "test track" . You'll want to come back and do that road over and over again it is that addictive

Bill,

Meet on Green Pond Road? Say somewhere closer to 23 than 80.

Go for quicK cruise and show me the technical road course?

I am going to blow leaves for a bit right now.

What say you?

CB,

To get to the road we have to go down Mt Hope Road which is on this side of Green Pond Road, thus the reason why we need to meet here. Taking the road the back way from Green Pond Road and then out to Mt Hope Road is not as fun.

Dane / Bill:

Look for the red Cobra with white stripes.

I will head out shortly.

I'll be coming down Green Pond from Rt 23 towards 80. I'll hang out at the Hibernia Diner for a bit.

Bill,

Definitely enjoyed the ride.

Looks we had a timing issue. Saw Blue Rooster (Dane) heading north on Green Pond just about 12:20. I was at Hibernia Diner from about 12:45 till probably almost 3:30. Got talking to someone about Cobras and such while waiting in the parking lot. You all know how that goes.

Until next time. Who knows.....there could be a few more warms days before first snowfall.

Sorry I missed all the messages.

Chappy -- Work has been they typical year-end nightmare for me. Sorry I have not gotten back to you.

Managed to take a late afternoon ride for about 1 hour along local roads. Not expecting to get out again until after the winter.
