You're close, Karl, c'mon over.
We'll save a special spot for ya - right up front
Jim, it's gonna be a fine weekend for this - just feel it in my bones. Along with the arthritis, of course...

Jim,
The real question is, are we going to meet this year or are you going to drive by like last year?
If we are going to meet up somewhere along the way where do you want to meet up?
Mike

thanks but CSX2498 is having a new radiator installed and the engine rebuilt. We will be putting it back together next weekend but I would like to drive over anyway. My 427 is still months away from completion. regards, karl

Jim,
No problem. We like to get as many advanced registrations as we can, so that we know how much stuff to buy, etc.... but we also know that almost 50% of our registrations are "walk ups", which is fine with us. All are welcome!
Roger,
How can you feel it in your bones? I thought they turned to dust by now....
I'm just keeping my mouth shut about the weather!
Steve

Northerners Crossing the Delaware
Group going from North Jersey to Cross the Delaware.
Meeting Place #1: 9:15 am -- Morristown at the intersection of South Street and Rt124 - behind the Chase Bank about 1-1 1/2 hours before the event and all drive down together.
Meeting Place on 202: ?????
I have to pick up Carless Chappy in Warren. Unless the caravan wants to make that detour from Morristown to Chappy's house I would like to meet up with the group on 202 somewhere. I can't remember the name of the bagel place we stopped at 2 years ago.

JW, I believe that's The Bagel Garden - on the northbound side of 202. Right next to a carwash, about half a mile south of the McDonalds.

TPB -- That sounds very familiar.
Thanks!
What time should we all plan on meeting at the Bagel Garden?
I think that it is no more than a 30 minute drive from Morristown to the Bagel Garden.
9:45 at the Bagel Garden?

Just wanted to give everyone a quick update on the Revolution.
Yes, we are set to go for Saturday. Finally, we don't have to worry about a threat of all day rain!!! I know they mentioned a slight chance of a late afternoon thunderstorm, but the overall forcast is mostly sunny. For those travelling a bit, we wrap up the show by 2pm and the cruise starts right after, so it should all be done long before then.
It's going to be a warm and humid day. We'll have plenty of water and soda on hand to help keep everyone cool. There's plenty of shade around too. I'll pick up some suntan lotion and put it at the registration table for anyone who'd like it. The good thing about starting at 11am is that it's before the hottest part of the day.
We had a very generous donation from Jay at Vintage Motorsports. He has donated the following items to us, so that we can have a raffle this year. Tickets will be $2 each or 3 for $5.
> - New Ford Racing Cobra Oval Air Cleaner. ($95 Retail)
> - Set of FE Cobra Valve Covers ($165 Retail)
> - Billet Small Block Water Neck ($95 Retail)
> - 2 K&N Recharger Kits ($10 Retail)
> - 5 Vintage Motorsports T-Shirts ($10 Retail)
> - 3 of the "Roz" Cobra Shirts See:
> Check ou new tee shirts ($20 Retail)
Remember, come hungry. Lunch is catered by Ely's Pork, which is mouthwatering. We'll have burgers, dogs and pulled pork BBQ.
I'm really looking forward to another fun Revolution. Seeing old friends and making new ones. For those who have come before, or those who are new, I'd also like to hear some feedback from everyone. I'm going to put a "suggestions box" there. We want to keep the Revolution a simple, family oriented event. However, anyone who's got thoughts, suggestions, comments, they're very much welcomed.
Looking forward to seeing everyone there!!!
Steve

From what I hear, the weather forecast for Saturday is now looking "iffy". Predicting thunder storms for both Friday afternoon and Saturday. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Way to go Steve. Nice prizes. Maybe next year we should have more sponsors and press coverage, local papers.
I will meet all of you, Roger and Steve, ETC around 9:30 at the site. Should we get a box of coffee and doughnuts from DD, I will bring both as we have a DD in Newtown now. But Roger, maybe you should bring scrapple and egg sandwhiches for all
Showers in the PM means nothing with the way the weatherman works, we will either drown or the sun will shine all day. As long as the sun is out in the AM will will have fun. Weather is not an issue for the DAY, friends, cobra's and food are.
Looking foward to seeing all of you again.

Jim,
Believe me, I've been monitoring the weather forcasts too for days. Checking every source I can find. From what I'm seeing, they are saying the vast majority of the day is going to be partly to mostly sunny, with the threat of evening pop-up thunderstorms. I'm thinking that for our event, we should be clear, with enough time left over for everyone to make it home before the rain hits.
I'd do a rain dance, but then I'd be recruited for Dancing With the Stars....

Uuhhh...well.....ok, if you actually commit to eating them. Scrapple being what it is, unless you're a local and don't get a brain cramp at the thought of scrapple, people tend to come to a screeching halt when presented with a bite of it.
The world hates cowards, right, Cork?
