Long Branch Report.....
What a day! Temperature was HOT. Ocean dead calm. Lots of people and cars, over 200. Lots of hotties in skimpy bikinis coming up to my car and going "OOOOOOOOWeeeee I just love this car"
No other Cobras, although I saw a blue one with white stripes pull in but he did not stay.
There was a guy there with an original AC 289 but he had it 'tarted' up so bad it was even hard to tell it was original. A shame. The only way you could tell it was original was from the leaf sprung chassis and some aluminum in the engine compartment. A real shame.
Y'know, everyone that came up to my car asked if it was original. Of course I told them no but when you walk up to that 289 you ask "what kit is this?"
Anyway, great day. Brunch at the Hilton on the beach and beer, fried clams, mussels in garlic at Rooneys after the show.
