La Corsa Delle Automobili Italiane
La Corsa Delle Automobili Italiane
Pocono 2001
Italian Fall Track Event
September 7th thru 9th, 2001
Hosted by Eastern Pantera Association & Race Car Club of America
This year’s event on September 7th thru 9th will start at the hosting hotel Pocono Manor Inn & Golf Resort. Featuring golf tee times for those interested in enjoying the two PGA 18 hole courses Saturday the 8th of September.
Then an Italian car display will feature all marquis located on the grass at the golf course. A wine tasting party will be set up near the car display. A people’s choice judging will take place during the wine tasting event.
On Saturday afternoon technical inspection will be available to those cars registered for the 1.5-mile north course track event at Pocono Raceway, just 10 minutes from Pocono Manor Inn. This course is run clockwise using the same infield section as the July 4th event, then running through the high bank turn (north end), down the back straight to the right hand sweeper and back to the infield.
The run session will be the same as the July 4th event. Green novice and white run together, then blue and red run groups. We will be alternating with the RCCA in the Formula 2000 cars. We will not run together with them. Bring your camera; there will be lots of beautiful racecars to capture for lasting memories.
We need your support! Please consider the dates of September 7th thru 9th, for you to join us for a family outing and driving event.
If any of you Cobra guys like to join us, I don't see a problem getting you in. Last year we had one GT-40 and a Cobra. We just love Ford power car that can keep up..!

So are any of you 10% guys with track time going to join us at Pocono for this event? We do have indoor parking at the track and at Pocono Manor. Feel free to call me if you have any questions. If you do not have track time you will need a rollbar for the pass. and driver.
