Default TTR / EVO 5 New Front and Rear Sway Bars option.

Hi Again,
We have some pictures of the NASCAR style front and rear sways bar option for the EVO 5. I will have installed pictures soon. They are adjustable and measure 1.0 in the rear and 1.25 in the front.

Rear Bar:

Thanks,

Ooo, ooo...

Some questions:

1) What is the length and spine size?

2) What is the specified rate?

3) What is arm length?

4) Are they mounted in bearings? It is not clear from the photo. How much?

5) Are they gun-drilled (hollow)?

Thanks,

David

Hi David,
The front is a Tubular (hollow) sway bar, 1-1/4" OD, 48 spline .125" wall and the rear is a Tubular (hollow) sway bar, 1" OD, 48 spline, .120" wall. I will get you the standard arm lengths and rates later from Don along with the bar length. They are double heat-treated zinc coated.

You have lots of nice stuff. Your picture seemed to have a thicker bar than spine in the front. The Schroeder bars ([url]http://www.schroedersteering.com/TitlePage.html[url]) come in 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2", 1 3/4", and 2" spines, but the 1" doesn't come gundrilled. The lighter rear bars come in a 7/8" spine, with 1" being the biggest diameters.

So I was having a little trouble figuring our what was configured.

It is great that you are using the spined torsion bar sway bars. Lots of tuning options for different tire combos. The 1 1/4" spine bars come in sizes from 3/4" to 1-3/4" in 1/16" increments. Thats 84 #/in to 2184 #/in!!!

Is this the $795 option on your web site?

David

Yup. We can also supply different or addition bars if needed. I know you may race the EVO if you get it and that would be helpful.

Hi Again,
In my constant effort to show each part of our EVO 5 roller build process, I have uploaded a picture of the front sway bar mounting. These bars are an option, but they are not your standard solid bars. These are gun drilled NASCAR units and they will perform as good as they look. There will be more pictures of the bars completly installed soon.

Mike, when do you expect to update your web site with more current pictures as well as pricing. Like how much is the sway bar option, pictures of your exhausts etc.

Hi Hawkeye,
The web site will be updated this week with pictures of the finished sway bar package. We have been a little short on time lately and I am waiting for pieces to return from powder coat. The pricing for the sway bar package is at the bottom of the Parts & Prices page ($795.00 installed). The exhaust pictures I just plain forgot to fix, I'll get to those by Saturday.

Mike, you commented a couple weeks ago that you were going to be updating your web site. Have you got a clearer picture when that might take place?

Hi Hawkeye,
I will try to get the site updated by this coming week. A freind of the family has passed away and I have been a little occupied. We have been swamped with work at D&D and TTR and have taken on 3 EVO 5 roller orders, 1 Coupe order and we are working on the 40 project the same time. I will send you few of the pictures I have via email tonight if you need. I should have more in the next few weeks. You will find pricing for options on the site under the "Parts & Prices" link.
