Michel, my build is going slow as well for alot of reasons, mainly this is suppose to be a hobby and takes a lower priority to many things (see my picture gallery). My status is all but the "F' panels are now in permanently, fuel lines to the engine bay, all brake lines are done, E-brake and cables done as well as the main battery cables to the engine bay are complete. I am in the prosess of cleaning up a few loose ends like the gas cable to the pedals and the plumbing from the resevoirs to the masters and then the nightmare of wiring starts. I am hoping to have this thing running by Nov. subject to my work out of town, time will tell.
On another note I had a bit of a shock today as I had someone come buy and give me a quote on paint. Now it did include doing all the mould seams, putting a small bevel on the wheel wells and finishing it with sand and polish plus a few minor other things. His estimate was about $10 to $12 K. I don't know if that is good or not.
Your right about Don he is always available by phone but as they say a picture is worth 1000 words.

Don, I just found this thread and will have to study it. The car does look great. One question I have, was asked by someone else earlier but, was not answered. I'm sure it was over looked because you're very busy, so no problem.
The slip fit side pipes.
I've heard many times, that they always leak, no matter what you do. Why do you prefer these over a collector ? I have them and just use high temp silicone, no gasket, and they never leak.
Thanks,
Kevin

D&D cobra owners ?
Are there any other D&D 427 cobra owners on CC, other than the few on this post ? I know Don is taking more pics, and will look forward to them but, I'm asking for other owners to show their cars finished.
Thanks,

You can only make a doughnut so many way. But that's one fine looking doughnut. I'm totally impressed with it. Roger

Don- If I could afford to sell my Cobra and build this one for your price, I would do it in a heart beat. Very nice chassis and car.
Thanks,

Well I have updated my picture Gallery
Take a look, I know that it is a slow build but since I have never done anything like this before I don't want to move to fast in fear of making mistakes. Which as most of you know are costly.
Don, I am open for constructive criticism and if you can use any of these pictures for a build manual feel free.

Don, still waiting on more pictures. I am primarily interested on how you finish off around the doors, especially under the door sills and around the hinges.
Any pictures will still be good.
