Can they have Antique Auto license plates if they are titled as a vintage vehicle? Just trying to figure out the annual registration fees and taxes they charge here.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Your taxes will vary by county, your local plate office will do the paperwork, NC is kit car friendly, so it can, and should be titled as a "1965 replica", because of the "1965", it will be emissions exempt. If the car has never been titled, and is on MSO, you'll need to provide this, and copies of all parts, including kit, to show sales tax being paid. If the car has been previously titled, you cannot retitle it as anything else, as the VINs are now tracked nationally.
