I have a Unique 289 with 351W, and have just gotten it running. Next to do is take it all apart and work up the emergency brake, heater, paint, then start putting it all back together. Kirby

My Midstates project still has a way to go, but I hope to be rolling by end-summer. I'm planning to go up to V.I.R this weekend to check out the Nostalgia Motors Shelby cobra event.

I have a Factory Five Cobra on order. Should be ready for pickup on 8/5/00. I hope to have it mechanically completed by X-mas and painted by spring.

Hey Folks,
It will be years before I actually purchase my Cobra which will be a Superformance with a 460 or 514. I plan to be able to pay cash for it in about 5 years just in time for my midlife crisis. (I'm 32 now.) If you VA guys all except for Jim Coleman and Raceral have not been to VIR yet you need to go. It is quickly forming a nationwide reputation as a fantastic facility. I have been twice, once for the Nostalgia Motorsports Cobra event (Where I had the pleasure of meeting Jim and Al)and just last weekend for Viperdays where I got to briefly drive my uncle's Viper on the full course.) I can attest that it is a fantastic course whether you are a wannabe racer/spectator like myself or you have a car to enter.
Hiwave thanks for starting an VA Club...
BTW I Live in Richmond, Va Email is gumballrally@mindspring.com. ,
Hope to see everyone at the next local event,
John Bagley

Would love to be a member of the VA / NC Cobra Club. Our cobra will be ready to RIDE in about one more month. Waiting for the wheels to come in, gotta buy tires and do some fine tuning. Can't Wait! We are in Fieldale, Va about 10 miles from Martinsville Speedway. Car is Shell Valley, 351 Cleveland, 425HP, 5 Speed, 373 Rear. Please let us know more about the club and future meetings. We will be going to Charlotte in the Spring and will be going to VIR.

Hi Linda and Brad,
Welcome to the world of snakes. If this is your first Cobra, you will have a blast this summer. I go to VIR quite often, so maybe I'll see you there. I also do some shows in the Danville/Martinsville/Mayodan area. I'm from South Boston. Car is a red FFR, no stripe.

Just wanted to say hi. I am working on a older CMC 66 cobra that I rescued from a life of sitting in a garage. It is in rough shape and is missing alot of pieces But with some hard work and a little luck I should be able to revive this Cobra so if there is anyone in the Virginia beach area who can give me some tips or knows where I can get some of the parts I need it would be very helpful. Also please let me know when you have any meetings I would like to join. My e-mail is lunicorn34@hotmail.com
Thanks Cobra Wanabe HOPEFULLY Cobra Soon-to-be
