Tommy,
Never got your reply email, but I've got a few things up my sleave. Interestingly enough it seems like most of the Cobra guys I know in town don't visit CC very often...

Bannon,
Don't know why all shouldn't be invitd to come to VIR and watch
the gang run next mo. They would just have to sign name to say they were crew of those registered or drop my name to gain admission. A few non-SPF drivers are already showing up. Gatekeepers don'y know the difference and the SPF gang is indifferent as to who watches.

Serpent 606,
I guess I thought the event was closed to SPF cars only as they are filming some sort of promotional video. I take it from what you are saying that participating in the on track driving is closed but anyone can come and spectate? If that's the case, then the more the merrier as far as I'm concerned.

JB,
You might have a point about the non-spf cars. I'll have to do some checking around. I've been under the assumption that the video would be mostly track stuff and even if it weren't the entire scope of cars wouldn't have to be in the camera view, and from a distance.........who can tell?

Hey guys.. If you can get all the non SPF cars in that day.. you will be a hero... I, WE love to come and hang out with you guys.. even if it is to watch.. If I ever put my car on the track, my wife will kill me.. I know we could find a place to park the out of the way... See what you can do.. going to that event is always a big highlite for the year for me.. I haven't missed one yet..

Just checking in, another VA cobra owner. I have an NAF Cobra. I live in Richmond, and am looking forward to the run to VIR for the upcoming american V8 event. Any local activities/runs/get togethers? I am mulling over making the pilgrimage to Ohio, but an 8 hour drive on Friday afternoon, plus an 8 hour return on Sunday isn't quite what I had in mind. May tow, may just go fishing.

Roger,
Weather permitting, I pick up my new Superformance late this week. If it's nice out on Saturday evening, I plan on heading to the Target on Midlothian turnpike. The more the merrier...

That's great news. I may wander over. I am in the middle of a huge remodel on my house, and may need to sneak away. My Cobra is in the shop getting checked out by York Sportscars in Ashland. John is a real character, and has built dozens of Cobras. Maybe I will see you there. Congratulations.
