Engine capacity in combination with cam/heads/compression etc determines venturi size.
Throttle butterfly size should be 20% larger than venturi.
In the ideal world, the inlet tract should be the size of the inlet valve.
The venturi is then about 85% of the barrel size, the valve throat is also about 85% of the valve diameter.
The 58s would allow a venturi of about 46-47mm, if your engine needs this much.
I've seen quad 58 DCOEs with 47mm venturis on a 427 race engine.
