427 Weber Setup Recommendations
Putting a 427 SO together with 48IDA's and would like some recommendations on how to set them up since they came off of a running 289. I have zero experience with these so I want to defer to the experts. Engine is a 427 side oiler with 4.25 bore x 3.784 stroke, CR 9.5:1, 2.19 & 1.71 Int/Exh valves. Camshaft is an Inglese stage 2 HR with 234/236 duration, .586/.580 lift and 115 degree lobe separation. Manual trans @ 3,000 lb. Am using 10 degree cant on the carbs. Looking for the following:
Main jet size Air corrector size Idle jet size Idle jet holder size Pump jet size Emulsion tube size Venturi size Needle valve size Anything else pertinent Does anybody have any running combinations I could use for this setup? Not looking to wring every last HP out of it, just want it to behave. Thanks in advance! |
Go to the Weber tuning section of this website, you will find mountains of information.
