Default Stack height effects?
I am in the process of stroking my 302 to 347. I have 48 idfs that I have been running with the stock height stacks. (2.5" ?) What effect will it have if I change over to 6" stacks. Thanks for any input.

Not sure. I lunched my hi-po 289 and went with a Man-O-War 347 short block and reused the alloy heads, Weber 48 IDA's with the 2.5 stacks. Never had a problem the engine had all the performance I needed.

I think longer stacks will give you a bit more torque/midrange.
