As always, thanks for keeping us up-to-date.
Last year was great, BUT, it sounds like this year will be over-the-top! Awesome.

More keep coming in...
Thanks to all of you for your continued interest and support. Just when we thought registrations had started to taper off, it started picking up again, and better. At this rate, I can't guess but know we are beyond well on our way in Mid March. If we keep up at this rate, we might actually achieve or possibly surpass our attendance goals.
All I know is, there is going to be a ton of Cobras, Daytona Coupes, and GT40s shaking up the town of Sparks Nevada and Victorian Square come May 18-21.
Can't wait to hear all these beasts as they come rumbling and crackling through the parking structure to the open top area where the WSCB Corral is.

I can see the snow from here, 89 miles away. I've NEVER seen so much white snow all over those mountain tops. The word is it will be there at least through July 2006 or longer.
We are changing our WSCB Saturday Drive plans a bit (Backup plan) to not go towards Mt. Rose if there is snow melt on the roads; and there probably wll be. The neat thing about the Sparks-Reno basin area is you don't get all the snow but your are surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges off in the distance. We are looking towards driving out towards Pyramid lake instead, as another option.

Black Rock Desert
Duane,
I keep threatening to take Bev back to Girlock, past Pyramid lake. We were there when Thrust SST and driver Andy Green broke the land speed record for the 1st time, 728 mph one way and 700 mph on the return run for a record of 714 mph, just a sureal sight. Later that month he broke the speed of sound and set the present record ,I think it's 763 mph. Unfortunately Breedlove couldn't muster 350 that day. Something we will never see again in this lifetime.

ps- Black Rock desert has the biggest [ 10" across ] spiders I have ever seen!

Hey Cobra Goddess....I'm taking 6 coats this year! We're going up a day early, got to have an extra coat. Ya just never know!! If I take enough coats, then the sun will shine most of the time and I wont need them....You all should get a group from OK and come out for this! You'd probably win the longest drive award!! Its great fun!!

Not to worry Cindy, we'll be sure to have you lead the pack with those new free flowing snow blower mufflers.
